Some Hemp Intellect & Humor
I decided, as I sat to take on the task, to go beyond what the facts say and the research available to us. I feel it is imperative to pick the brains of others on occasion to develop compassion and reach a broader understanding of the impact following our actions. An easy read, as follows, is full of powerful, motivated, and insightful persons with the same vision as this generation.
"A small group of thoughtful people could change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
- Margaret Mead.
This one speaks volumes. The small, intimate staff of Emerald's Triangle has steadily put their blood, sweat, and tears into this very ideal. It takes positive intentions and an immovable will to do so, but we are changing the game one day at a time.
"As engineers, we are in a position to change the world - not just study it." - Henry Petroski
Awareness is important, indeed. But if you're gonna talk about it, put your ideas into motion, or it is just hot air filling the space between yourself and the world.
"Why use up the forests which were centuries in the making and the mines which required ages to lay down, if we can get the equivalent of forest and mineral products in the annual growth of hemp fields."
- Henry Ford.
"Prohibition goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation and makes a crime out of things that are not crime. A prohibition strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded." - Abraham Lincoln
Many probably aren't aware that this issue dates so far back. And that, at one point, we had a vicious leader 100% clear enough minded to back the force of hemp.
"No one is going to give you a permission slip to change the world. There is no road map. No one has created a hemp-derived CBD market. We are all creating disruption and taking on risk." - Josh Hendrix
"Scientists in Australia are working onmaking biodegradable car parts out of hemp. This might become confusing. When someone says, "roll up the window," they may actually mean, "roll up the window!"
- Jay Leno
"Prohibition of marijuana has done far more harm to far more people than marijuana ever could."- William F Buckley, Jr.
We are right there with you, Mr. Buckley sir.
If I may, I call this type of text a breath of fresh air. Simply to grasp that we are not pushing this prerogative alone; that we are backed by HARD, TANGIBLE, NON-REFUTABLE EVIDENCE AND FACTUAL MATTER. It is a peaceful event when you find credible and intellectual advocates for this.
Just to take it down a notch, we had to share these ideals and quotes from fearless leaders and speakers. We bid you guys a great start to your week!
Thanks a bushel,
