WE SENT OFF FOR NEW TEST RESULTS AFTER GIVING THE MAVEN A FEW DAYS TO PULL THE PRODUCTS OR CHANGE THEM WITH PROPER PRODUCT. WE PURCHASED NEW SAMPLES AND SENT THEM OFF FOR TESTING. THE RESULTS DONT SURPRISE US. THEY LIKELY WILL SURPRISE YOU. A COMPANY WILLING TO KEEP PRODUCTS ON ITS SHELF WITH BLATANTLY FALSE LABELING AND ADVERTISING IS STATING THAT THEY DO NOT CARE WHAT YOU GET, SO LONG AS THEY GET THEIR PROFIT. THAT OLE' "BOTTOM LINE" IS THE ASSUMPTION THAT CAN BE DRAWN HERE.

So, its no surprise we test products that are sold locally. We do this for two reasons; to ensure that they are safe, and to ensure customers are getting what they pay for according to the product label.
Recently we picked up a selection of products from Vapor Maven in Jonesboro, Ar. Like all samples we send for testing, the packages remain completely unopened, and that is verified by the laboratory. Well, it seems that the maven is taking its customers for quite a bit of money. Every product we tested, contained LESS THAN HALF of the CBD the labeled claimed the product had. MOST HAD EVEN LESS THAN THAT! Some contained only 10% the amount of CBD claimed on the bottle.
These tests have a 10% margin of error. Which may help their case, to the extent they are only giving customers 60% of what they pay for instead of 50%. Then they have the audacity to throw up a billboard to lure the unsuspecting victims in. Granted, it is entirely possible that those working for them have no clue what is in the products they sell. That may come from some higher position than they. We wanted to make you aware that you are losing half of you money to fluff and filler when purchasing CBD products from this "maven". Not only is this another sly attempt to make money off of hard-working people. Its one thing to sell a good product. Its another to claim a product is good, short-cut its production to cut cost, then charge people their hard-earned money. This is a slap in the face to all of those in this community and every other community in which these stores are located. Help people to help themselves. Do the right thing. Or we WILL find you and call you out for what is really going on. If you want to be in the CBD market, which is intended to help people, not hurt them. Then you had best abide by that premise!

The format is the same. The number in the left hand side of the chart is the total amount in the bottle. All bottles claimed 1000mg. The highest found result was 369mg out of 1000mg claimed. Incredibly brazen for a company that is supported by this community.
So this post included originally, a picture of Vape Maven's billboard (public domain) with a lovely and truthful edit above it made by myself. Well, we received a "cease and desist" letter from Vapor Maven's Lawyers. It was nothing more than a scare tactic by those in "power" at Vapor Maven. After discussing with our lawyer, we decided all we need do is remove the picture. The reply email, that was sent by our lawyer, was something I personally enjoyed reading as he discredited every avenue Vapor Maven had seemed to stop us. What we will do, is comply with legal counsel of our own. What we and our legal counsel are not fans of is silencing truthful and factual information.
SO HAVING SAID THAT, VAPOR MAVEN HAS BEEN PROVEN TO SELL PRODUCTS THAT CONTAIN LESS THAN HALF, MANY HAVE MUCH LESS THAN THAT; OF THE ACTUAL CBD CLAIMED ON THE BOTTLE. THEY ARE, IN DOING SO, DAMAGING THE LOYALTIES OF THIS COMMUNITY, AND THE THOUSANDS OF PERSONS BUYING THEIR PRODUCTS, SPECIFICALLY THE ONES WHOS TESTS ARE SHOWN BELOW.
